Today’s Vibe Choice -2/1

Greetings all,
This may be a new point of view to most who read this Blog. This Blog is somewhat different in perspective than few may accept. I am offering a common sense understanding of how I see the Law of Attraction as it relates to the everyday things we all do. We all have “issues” that come from our Perspectives & beliefs; from where we want to feel “relief”.

Today’s thought: Thinking and Spirituality
“Zen does not confuse spirituality with thinking about God while one is peeling potatoes. Zen spirituality is to peel the potatoes.”- Alan W. Watts

Author’s Take: Thinking so intently or to the point that we are Distracted so as not to notice the world around us or being able to appreciate what we observe with quiet reflection. We should Pay Attention to our surroundings, as a matter of safety but we take time to feel the warmth of the day, the sounds of nature and the quiet of our inner mind.

Ending Thought: “I will close my eyes and allow myself to be in the world-and the world to be in me-without trying to attach words to what I am experiencing.”

————————————————————– These are great aphorisms. They are Light Natured and intended to evoke feelings of happiness. I appreciate that. The idea I feel is important here is that you can be happy doing the tasks of everyday life without being analytical. Enjoy the task at hand and it’s successful completion, not thinking that the action is needed to appease any higher authority.

If you believe that you’re Spiritual, then you will act according to your beliefs.(A belief is just a Habit of Thought that is Continually Reinforced.) However, it is not the Action that makes you spiritual but the Belief that you are! Therefore, if you think that a beautiful sunset, a quiet mountain view, a kindness you witness or anything that gives you a Feeling of connection with the belief you hold; can make you happy, then the common theme is the Feeling you have IS where the happiness comes from & Not from the Conditions you’re observing.!!
Conversely, the opposite is also true. If you approach a task with the feelings of dread, regret or anger, performing the task will give you a feeling of being unhappy. The general outcome may Not be as well as Wanted or intended.
If you really want to be happy, you only have to decide to be. No outside influence is necessary or possible. Your thoughts create your Emotions. Your interpretations of your emotions are the FEELings experienced as a result of your Point of Attraction. The previous examples did not, Can not MAKE you…anything. Only your thoughts, imagination or desire can cause you to feel the way you do & it’s the Feeling you Follow into Action(that you think will make you feel better in doing it). It’s your Choice.

The past, where many live, daily; provides many memories of glad times as well as the bad times. When those incidents occurred, we attach an emotional feeling to it; good or bad. When we recall the memory, the same Feeling returns. After time & repeated recollections of the same “happy” event, it loses its Luster and BeComes more everyday, less Special. Humans have a tendency to remember the Bad times with greater ease than the Good times & with more fervor. Consequently, most people experience more of the UnWanted than of the Wanted. This direction of thought or belief creates more resistance to the Allowing of what is Wanted.!!, by attracting More of the same energy as a result of the thought or attention to it.!!

So how do we live with our memories and the corresponding emotions or feelings that go with them and still find a way to appreciate and live in the Now??
The simple answer is to Not think about the past or apply that experience; the feelings and emotions created at the time, to the experiences of NOW. This is an esoteric concept. The mind is accustomed, having been trained from early on, to “remember the past, lest it be repeated”. In theory, this is a good practice as a guide to living in today’s world. This is also where we begin to create the resistance to what we want and where we want to be. The 1st “consequence”/manifestation of the resistance, to allowing the Wanted, to our Attention of the UnWanted is the Negative Emotions we feel.!!

I feel that the greater portion of people get the idea that they have some control of their lives but then it’s taken to mean they have the right or obligation to control others and Bring them Around to thinking like everyone else. The masses are expected to conform to the will or direction of a few. However, since there are More (minds/thoughts/vibrations of) people that Want & maintain their focus on personal Freedoms instead of Authoritarian control, they will Overcome the Lesser will. “Good always Wins” because there IS more Good, proportionately…!!

The Law of Attraction can guide us in understanding our thought processes and how they created what we observe around us. Our emotions are the Guidance System that tells us how we feel about what we are thinking. More importantly, our emotions indicate; to a greater degree, how our Inner-Being feels about the same subject and whether we are Resisting the Allowing our I-B knows we want. That indication provides us with the choice of what we can do about what we are doing. This is usually followed by an Inspiration to Act. It may come as a shock at 1st because it might seem a likely course to follow. This is where most fall into Frustration of the lack or delay. This is creating By Default.!! When you have a Feeling/Emotion that you “missed” the thought that bore it, review where it came from. If you “feel” it wasn’t Your thought, then it is from your Connection to Source, as the Extension of Source all Living Be-ings are.

When the New thoughts arrive, most tend to overthink or analyze them. If uncomfortable (for now) following Inspirations, then follow your Gut. If the thought doesn’t feel good, change your focus to something else that feels better, starting with the perspective of the moment. If it feels good, we are on the right path to allowing what we want, from the current experience.


Taking the Zen idea of the potato; we can Enjoy peeling potatoes if it provides a moment of mental peace and clarity or we can Hate peeling potatoes because we cut our finger (once…); or any other reason for not Wanting to peel potatoes.
We all have things we Have to Do in our daily existence that are unpleasant or disagreeable but they still need to be done in order to Co-Exist in our current society. We can decide to enjoy the task and the end result or we can resent the task. Most simply complain about it because it Has to be done. Complaining sets up a thread of complain-able topics to complain about…ad nauseum.

I feel that what they are really saying here is to appreciate the NOW. This moment in time. Take in the joy of what you observe that gives you pleasure, pay no attention to what you Don’t Like.!! This can be done by not talking about it, without expressing an opinion of it, without analyzing it but by just Appreciating the moment, the Now. Continued observance of What-Is (called Reality) holds it in place, creating More of the same and not allowing Expansion of our Physical experience.

The Choice is always ours. Wanting to Feel Good about what we do would make life more enjoyable. Finding the Best feeling in the moment will lead you along the Path of Least resistance (or of More Allowing!) to the Desire your I-B knows you want. That is the purpose of life, to enjoy it the most we can. We create our own reality, with our Thought Emotional vibrations offered from our perspectives.-JMO

Trust- Vibrationally

Vibe Commentary-3/31 12/29/2021

Today’s Thought: Trust
“It is better to suffer wrong than to do it, and happier to be sometimes cheated than not to trust.”- Samuel Johnson

Author’s Take: Today we find a popular opinion of society that if we remain guarded, suspicious and careful, we protect ourselves from being taken advantage of or cheated. The chance of being wronged may happen but that that is better than allowing it to make us bitter or mistrustful.

Ending Thought: “I am smart about protecting myself, but I want to be open to people and experiences as well.”

I first want to express my feelings about the contradiction in the viewpoints of the Book’s author with the Quote offered as well as that of the Ending Thought. That also has a conflict with itself, I think. I don’t believe anyone would rather Be “wronged” than have it happen to another; nor would one Prefer to be Cheated than to give one’s Trust, mistakenly.!! (We will always say; “…Glad it didn’t happen to Me.!!”) The Author’s Take idea here, I feel; is that to Guard one’s security is the Cause of Harsh or “Inappropriate” ideas but Allowing ourselves to Taken Advantage of is Better. (for Who?) How or Who does This help?? (This is one of societal “rules” that have been Embedded in our concept of Proper Behavior by those, Long ago; in Positions of Authority that we have ALLOWED out of Fear…I’ll cover my of my Ideas on This topic-Nxt Yr.)

Trust is an Emotional sensation. Most may think it is an Intellectual concept. We see someone whose appearance is not to our Liking; A look, a smile at the wrong time, an overheard piece of conversation, are a few of the 1st Judgements we make when deciding whether or not to Interact with another & give them our Trust.

The Law of Attraction could not be more valid than on this point. To think we need to Worry about Anything at all, only serves to create more of the experiences we find to worry about.

Every thought(& thing..) IS Vibration.!! LoA attracts the Like vibrations to it/you, regardless of the Thought. Every thought Creates an Emotion in response to an Observation of What-Is (now reality).Emotions are the 1st “manifestation”.!! The “judgement” that manifests, is also a Vibration to which LoA responds by attracting more Like thought/vibrations that ADD to your FEELings of (Mis)Trust.
When we think of Anything, we create it; vibrationally, and continuing to think about, giving it more Attention it only “Feels” like it Justifies our (mental) “decision”, thinking we came to the conclusion because of the Emotions felt in the moment. It is Always the Vibrational Interpretation, which “caused” the Emotion felt which we think influenced the outcome.

We have all heard of a “Sixth Sense” or “Intuition”, some call it a Gut-Feeling.!! This is your Non-Physical extension of Source Energy that is the Greater part of your Physically focused (body)Experience; Your Inner-Being (I-B).!! Your I-B knows all that your Want, the Path to get you there & It never doubts or judges the Worth of your Desire. It communicates IT’s perspective of every thought you have with Emotions. Negative emotions indicate your viewpoint is Not that of I-B’s.

This is where Trust (should) starts. This is an Attraction based Universe, there is No Assertion.!! Your “Trust” of your connection and Alignment with your I-B and Source will guide you by your FEELINGS. When this trust is diminished, your experience too will Feel diminished by the thoughts your carry most.

Those that Feel that they will be cheated or wronged in some way, usually are. LoA insures it.!! They approach the idea with the expectations of it happening to them and you always get what you ask for. We “Suffer” wrongs or injustices because once it happens, nothing can be done about it other than retaliation, which also is wrong. It perpetuates the cycle. If we feel Cheated, we’re never happy about it because our Spirit/Inner-Being disagrees with the conscience thought we have about how WE feel about it. That is the basis of all our emotions and feelings.
So if we set ourselves up to Protect ourselves from the things we Don’t want, we only attract more of what we don’t want, creating the very situations we think we are protecting ourselves from, making it more of a reality by adding to the momentum of the thing we don’t want because we are thinking of it with more feeling and consistency.
What we think about most is what we get from the Universe. If we think we are cynical or not, we’re right. Henry Ford said, “If you think you can or you think you can’t; you’re right.” That was over a century ago, in a time when Positive thinking; as we know it today, was not the way most people thought. Reality, what they saw in front of them, was the way things were and the way they were supposed to be or Meant to be.
More people today think or accept the idea that they can affect their lives by the way they believe or think. We see the evidence of it in the creations of all the New things we enjoy as a result of all of our wanting…More, Better, Easier, you get the idea. From the wheel to the Smartphone, we have brought these things into the world because we FELT it would make us happier in the having of them.

We create from our thoughts that evoke our feelings from a standpoint of Love or “lesser” emotions of Love.!! Man-made ideas & concepts created & designed to “control societal behavior” through Fear of reprisal; so that those Wanting Control, feel better (in some form). That too is a perpetual cycle. Life is meant to be Fun. I feel it is much more enjoyable and Fun than one of doom & gloom.-JMO

Being Satisfied…enough?

This will be a new point of view to most who may read this Blog. This Blog may be completely different in perspective. I’ll not be “railing against the wind” but instead I am offering a common sense understanding of how the Law of Attraction relates to the everyday things we all do. We all have “issues” that come from our Perspective; from where we want to feel “relief”.
If you have read and are following this thread of Vibrational Offerings; you’ll notice that I skip a few days. This is not because I felt they were any less important but because they didn’t offer a point of view that inspired sufficient contrast on which to comment.

Today’s Thought: Being Satisfied
“You can never get enough of what you don’t need to make you happy.”- Eric Hoffer

Author’s Take: We always are wanting more of things we think will make us happier. If the things we now have do not make us happy, more of the same will not add to our happiness.

Ending Thought: “Today I will find satisfaction in the things I already have. Before I look for more of something, I’ll make sure it is something I know will bring me happiness.”

This IS almost the basis of the concept of the Law of Attraction and Life; Feeling Happy!

In the process of Living the Life we chose to experience in this Time /Space reality, we encounter the things we Don’t Like. This is the Contrast to the Easy, Eternal flow of Life. Contrast causes desire because when you Know what you Don’t want, immediately you know what you Do Want!! Whatever Contrast has evoked a desire in you for, Something Different, Better, more Satisfying; it is your perspective that attracts the desire for More . This is the Natural procession of it. Life causes all Living Consciousnesses to WANT MORE, from the One cell Ameba to the Largest land animals & Humans.
What we want, plain and simple; is to be happy. Nothing is Wanted for any other reason, justification or excuse than the one Wanting thinks/believes they will FEEL better in the Having of “It”!!

Mr. Hoffer’s idea that you “…can never get enough of what you Don’t need…” feels like Because we want more, we can’t be Happy with what we have. In a sense, this is true If one seeks happiness in More “Things”. Thinking a “Condition” will provide happiness is from a Flawed Premise belief. A “Belief” is just a Habit of Thought that is constantly ReInforced.!!

Having more of the Same can be Satisfying. It is the Creating, Desiring, Anticipating & Real-I-zing the BeComing of the Desire. So whether it’s a House in Europe, ALL your favorite cars or a Simple day-to-day Life; once these desires become part of the Physical experience, we want the Next more. It is NOT in the having but the Getting.!! All the Emotional sensations of Excitement & Wonder add to the Achievement of the desire.
My point here is that it is Not the material “thing” we want more of, it’s the emotion of Satisfaction & Happiness. If believing “More…” will bring more happiness there is no Greater way to Expand your Personal Time/Space Physical Experience & the Universe, than through Manifesting MORE!!

The Ending Thought is a more accurate perspective of Wanting More. The LoA gathers together the vibrations or thoughts of Like “Frequencies” of all we Ask for. It becomes Vibrationally “real” as the Momentum of Creation combines the Components of “IT”. Once it IS vibrationally, allowing the acceptance of it’s Reality will attract it into your Experience. It’s the Satisfaction of your NOW, knowing that the More you want will Fill-In the vision of the Improvement of the current Now.
Now the “goal” is to Be, Find, Extend & Feel Happiness. Can we agree? The “material” things are AS important in the finding of Joy.
Our only reason we chose to Be-ing here, in this Physical Time-Space reality, is to add to the Expansion of the Universe. The creation of More does this in 2 ways;
1: Creating the objects of our world expands the Collective World Consciousness to New & Better, causing a Desire to Create More, as well.
2: Nothing is created but through Love. Love is the Vibrational Frequency of the Universe. As we create, we do so from a Love, in some measure; of what we Want. That Energy, that Vibration also is Affected by the Law of Attraction & gathers more Vibration of LOVE, which expands & Keeps expanding the Universe.

Knowing that the vibration of Source Energy is the Frequency of Love and that your “creation/desires” are Love (vibrational) until they’re Physical, Aligning the Energy of your Desire with the Energy of FEELING of Love manifested by the Thought of having should be easier to understand. When this turns to Knowing the Joy in Wanting for the sake of the Emotions created, imagining the having as a Now event; LoA, the Universe & the power of focused thought will Complete the picture of Creativity.

Life is meant to BE Fun!! If it’s not, then you’re following someone else’s Belief of How you need to Behave so They feel better.-JMO

Being Positive!??

This is a new point of view to those of you who may read this Blog. This Blog may be completely different in perspective. I’m not “railing against the wind” but instead I am offering a common sense understanding of how the Law of Attraction relates to the everyday things we all do. We all have “issues” that come from our Individual Perspective; from where we want to feel “relief”.
If you have read and are following this thread of Vibrational Offerings; you’ll notice that I skip days. This is not because I felt they were any less important but because they didn’t offer a point of view that inspired sufficient contrast for me, on which to comment.

Today’s Thought: Positive Attitude
“A strong positive attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.”- Patricia Neal

Author’s Take: Research, whether personal or scientific, does not understand Why a positive attitude affects us in positive ways. It has been more accepted more in the past recent decades than any other time we can recall. The Placebo has been Sold to recipients for some time and the effects have been documented across all areas of study. It’s power has been accepted by doctors as well as the general public. Using a positive attitude in sickness and in health can and benefits us.

Ending Thought: “I can face whatever comes today with a positive attitude.”

I have stated many times, in a variety of my Commentaries, my thoughts and feelings of the Power of Positive thinking(PMA). I have studied and read many books that promote the idea. I want to take this opportunity to clarify My perspective of Positive Thinking.
My first forays into the study and learning of PMA came from the earliest publications of authors, such as Norman V. Peale, Dale Carnegie, Edgar Casey, Napoleon Hill, Og Mandingo, W. Clement Stone and even Zig Zigler…I’m sure there are many more I’ve read but won’t list here. In my early years, these were my main sources of information of How to have a better life. I highly recommend them all, if you are wanting to learn the Basics, in order to set your Perspective in the right (to Me) direction. I have read and reread them all and refer to them still.**

As is the habit of man or the unavoidable result of the times and the current of thought of past beliefs, these writings were colored by the lessons learned by these authors, as taught to them. They developed and grew more aware of a more natural order that was Not mainstream thinking.

Their earlier circumstances may not be well known but I can’t help but think that they developed their New way of thinking because of their Dissatisfaction with how their lives were. They found better results from having a PMA. Fortunately for the rest of us, the world and the progression of thought, they wanted to share their findings and results.

Since learning to BE more Positive, think positive and expect positive results, as these mentioned writings explained; I saw better results in my life. I, like most; was still was influenced by conditions and breaking free of that narrowed way of Thinking, slowed my growth and prosperity. I never understood why, since I was applying the lessons the books expounded, I was not seeing the results they said I should. At least to the degree they said I should. I went through the Litany of excuses & blame. I was doing the work. Why wasn’t I getting the results??

LoA has given me the answer to that question. PMA can only take you to the edge of what you want to achieve by applying the principles of “Fake it till you Make it” thinking. It is less about Thinking and more about Feeling, listening to the Emotions your thoughts invoke. It’s not about Positive or Negative because LoA responds equally to both trains of thought. Pos/Neg-Good/Bad-Black/White-Muslim/Christian, all are labels MAN has assigned to what their Beliefs, held from earliest Societal teachings. A ‘Belief” is a Habit of Thought that is constantly Reinforced. It’s true; to you, BECAUSE you Believe it.!!

This is a Vibrational, Attraction based Universe where we create our Own reality with the Thought & Emotional vibrations offered. LoA responds by attracting more Like vibrations setting up a Momentum of Creation, until your thoughts BeCome in your Experience. The practice of “Fake Till You Make It” is a fine start but only will allow your Expansion to go to the point of your Attention to the LACK of what your “Faking”. When the focus is about what is Missing, LoA responds by “drawing” More like vibrations to You/it…The “results” you’re wanting seem elusive because you are focused more on what is Not wanted instead of what IS Wanted.

We are all greatly influenced by our earliest lessons of life. The circumstances of our childhood, the attitudes we witnessed and mimicked of our parents, siblings and peers and the sense of self we adopted and felt in our hearts; all serve to mold our perspectives and our manner of being, our basic personality. In other words, if we had a Loving, Giving and Happy youth, we learned to believe that that was how life was supposed to be. This is also true if the “conditions” are opposite… Rich people don’t “worry” about money, they expect it as a natural condition of their lives. They have other issues in spite of their wealth.

Psychology has proven that children learn their Core life lessons by 7-10 years of age. This is where they build their Basic personality.! They mirror the environment they live in during those years. They mimic the attitudes, actions and beliefs of their parents. This is how we behave for the most part of the rest of our lives. We also learn (or are taught) the limitations we Believe control our lives and keep us from allowing the change needed to move out of our circumstance or current situation, that we are dissatisfied with.
In order to effect change, we must first change the old paradigm to the one we want to experience. Through the LoA, we create our own reality. The reality that we observe around us is the result of what we have thought up to that point. Once we realize and accept that Now is already the past and can not be changed, we understand we need to anticipate and allow a New reality for the next Now by Feeling the reality we desire already is!

**The Self-Help books I read on PMA promoted a Positive Mindset way of thinking. The basic concept was good but incomplete. It did not take the LoA into consideration, since it wasn’t an acceptable belief for the time. The human mind can only focus on One thought at a time. The (Learned) natural tendency when we don’t get what we think we want, is to find Negative excuses Why & we turn the focus on the excuses AND the “Lack” of our Desire.

The focus of our thoughts creates the reality we have or the reality we want, depending on the amount of attention we give to either. Maintaining focus on where we want to go and not where we are, maps your Life Paths to the destination you want. Once you ask, you know the destination. Know you’ll get there by following the map you & your Inner-Being, created, then focus on the journey along the path. You don’t recreate the path along the way or stop and retrace your steps to make sure the map is right. Follow the example of the new GPS systems today. It redirects if you stray from the original route and points you to the (path of least resistance) easiest route “from there” keeping the destination in mind, as the end result. Enjoy the trip along the way, the end isn’t going anywhere.-JMO

Anger is good…

Today’s Thought: The Cost of Anger
“Anger can be an expensive luxury.”- Italian Proverb

Author’s Take: Anger colors our lives and the things that occur around us. Small things that seem to go wrong that in turn affect our disposition and mood. None enjoy the anger we feel is caused by circumstances out of our control. It could be that others are taking advantage of our situation or a condition that makes us uncomfortable that brings the anger to the surface. Changing our perspective can allow us to respond calmly or constructively rather than out of anger.

Ending Thought: “I don’t have to get angry, even if it seems justified. Instead, I can think about why I’m upset, whether there’s something useful to do about it, and what steps I can take next.”

This thought came recently, on the heels of an experience which presented itself to me and I found it amusing that it was so appropriate. While shopping, I was approached by a store employee, doing what I’m sure she felt was her job, performing it in the manner she I’m sure, she felt helpful. For no apparent reason, I felt her butting in to advise me How to do something I’ve done several times, was intrusive. I didn’t appreciate her injecting herself in my efforts and informed her of such. I feel I may have been a bit overzealous in my reaction. I was polite, mostly; but still firm, resolute in my dislike of her interference. The result was obvious, to her as well as others nearby. When I reached my home, my anger had not diminished and if anything, had increased.

The issue I had was NOT Not understanding Why I got as upset as I did. My only Guess is that the vibration I expected from her affected My vibration. One I was unprepared for and allowed myself to react to in a negative manner. The reason or “cause” is irrelevant because it Can Not be changed. It’s His-Story & beyond our power to alter, except in our Minds.

This is a typical example of thinking outside circumstances to affect us as if something else Interferes with our lives. This is called Conditional Living!! When conditions are allowed to “Rule” the reactions human spend so much time justifying, those conditions can’t change or improve.

The Belief that things/conditions/situations can affect us is the reason we Allow those things Keep happening. The key word here is Allow!! That is a choice we can make in every moment.. Most think that we don’t make that choice. About the only choices we don’t make consciously is to breathe or to pump the blood through our veins. Even these actions we call Autonomous functions can be controlled by the mind through Choice and extensive practice and absolute belief. This has been proven by Swamis and Mystics throughout time. The Will to live is a strong one and can override seemingly extreme fatal conditions. Most will agree that Will is merely Extremely focused thought!!
So if we can control our breathing and bodily functions, we should all be able to regulate our emotions by monitoring the thoughts and decisions that result from them, as well.

Let’s bring in the LoA perspective to Anger, the emotions associated with it and how or where it comes from.

We are Non-Physical extensions of Source Energy (or God), Physically focused in our Human bodies. Bodies that have adapted and been trained to Think like humans, with all the habits acquired & passed down through the ages. These habits all have a beginning or start point steeped in the necessity of the time. As man evolved & circumstances changed, the one constant in this evolution is the thoughts we applied/apply to whatever we were/are doing on that particular event. I am being General here on purpose so as not to draw focus or attention to a particular idea.

Our thoughts create the Reality we live in but since our environment has also evolved with the creative process, humans tend to want to make their Beliefs fit the Now. It’s a Square Peg-Round, Hole situation…Beliefs are only a Habit of Thought that is constantly reinforced. They are the thoughts borne out of the habits established long ago, before we had any idea of what or how our existence was or would become.

Back to the emotion(s) of Anger, which is at the lower end of the Emotional Scale; below Despair, Depression, Grief and Fear but above Revenge, Hatred & Fear. The human mind, this powerful human mind works at such a speed that we do not notice all the nuances from start to end of each thought. We experience the full spectrum of emotions with each event until we (it) find(s) the one that fits the circumstance of the moment. Physical conditions also play a part in how we Feel. Coffee or hunger can elevate our Anxiety, for example. If we are not aware of these, our emotions can “get out of control” before we know it. But only if we do not monitor the thoughts or feelings, which create the emotion. Anger can & should be a Call to Action, to take steps to FEEL Better!!! Don’t let others say that you should have Anger since this is a Pivotal point of Emotion on an Upward expansion to (FEEL Better) Joy!!

Emotions are the Guidance System indicators that measures the degree of Alignment or Acceptance of the thought during the Now moment and to the how our Spirit or Inner-Being feels about the same thought. Once we understand and accept that our emotions are those indicators of thoughts, we can begin to get a better hold on the result. If it doesn’t Feel good, it probably isn’t good for us. Once we can get back to feeling good, we can find the reason we experienced the emotion in question.

All in all, we create our own reality with the Thought & Emotional vibrations offered when we think. The emotions denote how we feel about that thought and the (already) Manifested Reality of what we observe, as a result of the creative process.-JMO

“Doing” with LoA

Today’s Thought: Doing Our Best

Author’s Take: We all have tasks to complete or want to complete. Whether it’s something we want or not, it may need doing, as part of our lives. If it’s an Unpleasant assignment, we may not do it to the degree of our own satisfaction; just to put it behind us. Not doing it well may cause unpleasant feelings. A task well done gives us a sense of satisfaction.
Doing our best at whatever we endeavor should make us feel good, even if it goes unnoticed.

Ending Thought: “I may not always be able to do things as well as I would like, but I can still try to do the best I can, given the time and priorities I have.”

Thinking one has “Done Their Best” is Self-defeating & in most cases, a defending of their Limitations. Moreover, it places more emphasis on the opinions of others than of One’s accomplishments. Regardless of the amount of effort given, it is done only to the degree of the desire one wants to exert.

In a world oriented in Deeds, we all have things to Do, whether we like the task at hand or not. We all are taught, to some degree; to take pride in our work, to do the best we know how and to make serious effort to complete the deed.
We don’t always do the very best job if we haven’t learned the proper skills. If our skill isn’t “up to par”, it may take longer than a timed Schedule will allow. Mistakes may result.

Not being able to do the best at a task that’s possible, despite our effort or skill, causes most people to have feelings of inadequacy; possibly even ones of Failure. In our societal order, failure is Unacceptable. In the U.S., we have a Must Win attitude, to be the best, to be number One. Everything is a competition which we must all win. However, there can be Only one winner. Second place is the 1st loser. No one wants to be a Loser. This training starts at very early stages of life. Gender is irrelevant. Boys compete in competitive sports; as do some girls. Girls have to be the prettiest, most graceful or best dressed. Boys too, in some cases. And all need to learn the most that they can, to be the smartest, to have the Highest Grades (GPAs). The Failure is in the Judgement.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe that competition is important in the learning process; teaching us to do our best, to interact with society. Knowing we do our best, we feel good about what we have done and the Feeling Good is the important part of life. However, Criticism of how we do something only serves to build resentment of doing any more. That resentment is more the cause of Not doing something better, than the effort we put into doing it. It creates a perpetual cycle that becomes less and less fulfilling with each effort we attempt.

This is all Effort Based thinking. This makes our life conditional; on how well we perform, how we’re judged by our peers, superiors or parents and society. For the most part, hardly anything is ever Good Enough for a large portion of people. Whether we are criticized by parents as children or “teachers”; we learn to feel less than our best. We are taught, by religion, example or habit, that we are Not perfect. We can never reach perfection but must always strive to attain it. How this contradiction of thought or belief affects the outcome depends on the individual and their state of acceptance. Most importantly, it depends on each individuals level of Self-Worth.

Law of Attraction is not task oriented but emotion based. Regardless of What we do, how we do it or whether we do it; it’s how we FEEL doing it, that’s important. When we feel good, we are happy, regardless of the outcome of a task. Less happy if the result is not how it was thought to turn out. The same outcome when in a less accepting/allowing mindset, may result in Disappointment, Anger, even Violence…

We can always do things “As well as we’d Like” because we create our own reality. That includes, more so than anything; how we FEEL at any moment.

If we find something we enjoy doing, we do it well and often. We feel good about the doing of it. This is the greatest gift we can give ourselves. Life IS supposed to be fun and enjoyable. When we can reach that state of happiness, we feel we live a more of a fulfilled life. There will still be things we don’t want but need to do, we may still not do everything the best it can be done but when we have a joy of life for the things we do that we enjoy, the lesser well done efforts matter less. We acknowledge we aren’t able to do it as well as another and we are glad to let others, more skilled do the things we don’t do as well.
Be happy in your life, regardless of what you do. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. If you can let someone else that does it better, sit back and watch and learn and appreciate that it was done well.-JMO

Today’s comment is a little different as it is Current, with the calendar’s date! I am allowing the Universe to guide my response to today’s Quote-of the-Day. Same source of reference as stated in my previous blogs. Enjoy!

Author’s Take: Here we have the author comparing Weighing the Consequences to Action, efficient or not. The “if’s”; (self-imposed) obstacles to task at hand, if considered at length may cause a situational Paralysis. While on the other hand, one taken to Action IS doing something, whether it Solves the problem or not isn’t as relevant as movement. Make the attempt…

Final Thought: “While it is important to consider the Potential consequences of any action, I can’t let the If’s paralyze me into inaction.

Problem solving skills are useful and fun to have & use but, from the LoA perspective as I see it; the problem with Problems is the focus being the Problem in “search of a solution” instead of the letting the solution show itself within the Problem itself. For most people, the Problem is all there is. “The First step to solving a Problem is knowing it exists.” Zig Ziglar (1975-79). This has been a Positive Mental Attitude adage for decades.

It’s the expecting to find problems to acknowledge that is setting yourself up to Create problems along the Physical path to what you want. Law of Attraction does not discriminate between vibrations. If the predominate Vibration is one that Brings problems, it will attract more Like vibrations to You. If you think that you will encounter problems, LoA will assure that that happens.

However, here’s the good news! Understanding LoA, paying attention to the Way you feel and using your Emotions as a guide, you Know you can change the Vibrations before they become too involved or before there is already a significant amount of Momentum started. Accepting What Is with the knowing that it is already PASSED & is Inconsequential to the Next moment. It verifies the issues without giving it vibrational substance. Changing the Story or the mental aspect of it to anything that Does Not involve “the problem” will Allow greater possibilities for the ideas of solutions to flow to you, freely. The less resistance (focus on the Problem), the greater degree of Allowing new ideas to be Received.!!

In our Vibrational, Attraction based Universe where we Create Our Own Reality, mankind has Thought and manifested it’s way out of the Darkness to the modern society we all, collectively co-create(agree to) as One. This is the important part. Everything we know was once a thought First, wanted, needed, focused into Reality and action was used to assemble the “manifested” components into useable items…Chairs, tables, houses from wood…the saw to harvest it…the knowledge of what was needed to “build” with from a ready made resource…How to live, in safety outside a Cave…One thought leading to the next. Action taken to move from step to step until, Here We Are…

Action will Always have consequences but if they were relevant to the Successful outcome of any endeavor, we would still be living in Caves.

Problem Solving can & is useful in the proper setting. That setting is NOT the physical circumstances of the moment but your Vibrational connection or Alignment with your Inner-Being. If the problem is approached from a position of Anxiety or Stress, Fear Doubt & Worry, LoA adds to the Momentum already in motion. If the problem is observed while one is in Harmony with the Energies of the Universe and their own True self & not looked at as a Problem but as a another step along the Life Paths to what(Your Inner-Being already knows & is guiding you to) you want. The destination is not the priority of Source, your Inner-Being or the Universe (or God, they’re all just Labels for the same idea). It’s the Journey. Life is meant to be Fun. That means having Fun along the way to where you want to be, even it involves Problem-Solving. It’s only about feeling good Now.!!-JMO

Common Sense & the Law of Attraction

There’s Only One

Today’s (Happy Thanksgiving) blog will be a bit different than what I have posted so far. My past offerings were a response to someone else’s perspective of quotes from past figures in history…

I have often thought, noticed and said, “If common sense was all that Common, more people would have it.!” I’ve thought of writing a book of common sense occurrences as a guide to applying and using C.S. in everyday practices. Common sense told me it wouldn’t do as well as I’d have liked…

Can C.S be taught? Is it an “Inherent” ability to see with the logical mindset of C.S.? Is it only a more Ordered and Logical mind that understands the linear concept of it.? Is it relative to intelligence?

As I mentioned in another post, I have always held the Basics of the belief structure I now have but I didn’t grasp the subtle concept of the How & Why it happened as it did. With my wanting the answer to that very question, that I’ve asked for many years; I attracted the teachings of the Law of Attraction and it’s core principles. From this perspective, I see common sense in a different light.

Yes, the mind and it’s logical view & observation will still be vital to operating in a C.S. state.

LoA is always “Attracting” to the current Point of Attraction, or the thing being thought at that moment. My experience with using C.S. has always been a thing of ease for me. It was the common sense thing/way to do it. There always seemed to be a “simple” way of doing or looking at things. Now I see that the Law of Attraction was at Play throughout every experience, thought and corresponding action.

So how does LoA affect Common Sense?? Let’s look at how we perceive the things we look at. With every observation, our Physical mind takes in every detail, seeing every option without our Conscience awareness of the information received & stored in the mind. As we observe this “reality”, we have thoughts of everything we see. Thoughts are vibrations and therefore, active in the LoA. The “original” thought of how…was created is also Still present in the Universal Energy field of Vibration & therefore, accessible to the Mind & Inner-Self.

I have a mindset of Common Sense. I don’t remember when I didn’t have this sense of Ease. The path of least resistance is what allows the LoA to Attract the energies of what thoughts lead to less resistance of the effort for whatever action is needed to achieve the C.S result. Read that again (I had to). In simpler terms, We see something; we Think; there’s a simpler way to do something, LoA responds to that thought & brings into play the energies that Manifest into the Inspirations that provide the vision to SEE the Easier, Common Sense Way.!!

We all have an Inner sense of Right & Wrong (based on the current “Reality” paradigm), a Gut feeling that tells us that we Are right. When we follow that impulse, we usually find positive results. If we allow others to direct our desires, we are almost always left feeling less sure or confident. Resentment can come into play if allowed.

I can only provide examples of instances where C.S. either was or was not used. To me, there is no Rhyme or Reason for the actions taken in those cases. Why my perspective of C.S is as Tuned, is also a mystery to me. Common Sense, like Opinions are unique to the individual & can or can not be Shared with another.

Here’s MY opinion. Common Sense depends largely on the learning background of each person, what Priorities they were taught, the level of Intelligence & confidence and most importantly; whether they possess an Analytical mind. One that sees a bigger picture and the corresponding steps to reach the conclusion. Much like a Chess player that Sees several “moves” in advance while taking into account the Opponent’s several possible counter-moves. I feel it may be a Learnable skill, as any other skill but I’m not sure it’s Teachable. I do think that there is a Lot less of it today than eve 30 years ago. It’s diminishment has inspired me to Re-Title the book of C.S to a more accurate title; The Dumbing Down of America!!! -JMO

Today’s Thought: Perspective
“We are all something, but none of us are everything.”- Blaise Pascal

Author’s Take: This take on Today’s thought is a mixture of both sides of the concept. At first it seems that we, as people, have dual beliefs of ourselves. We may believe in ourselves as an important part of the world and then, have doubts as to our value in that same world.
Ending with the thought that we matter but no more than anyone else, significant equally to all others in the world.

Ending Thought: “I can be happy with myself in the world, without distorting it one way or another.”

This has its own contradiction & I thought the Author’s Take, or my interpretation of it; was ambiguous at best and then ending with a Societal judgement of individual worthiness.
We ARE all something & we are all Everything. That ALL is an extension of Source Energy or God, the source from which we all originated and of the Loving Consciousness vibration that created our existence. In that, we ARE everything!

As for our worth or value to the expansion of the Universe, we all have the same creative ability or power to add to the advancement of the evolution of man and knowledge. Not all of us believe we have that ability, thereby what “Makes” any of us “better” or worse than any other is the belief each person has of themselves. (A belief a just a Habit of Though that is continuously Reinforced) Some are more In Tune with the energy of the vibrations of every idea or thought that is, ever was or will ever be. Those are the ones that bring about the material manifestations that change our world and society. The ones that act on the realization of the idea, as it finds its way to our minds and desires; create those changes. The ones who do not grasp the possibility of enacting a change or make use of the ability of creating beyond our daily existence in Reality, stand back and say, “I wish I’d thought of that” or “I had that idea…”.
I came to believe a long time ago that Universal intelligence or knowledge, in general, was available to everyone if they would allow themselves to “tap into” the stream of the Consciousness that literally, is the Universe. I didn’t realize then, that I knew of the Law of Attraction, by name; and of the pervasive Loving Energy of Source. I was only wanting to avoid the Religious aspect of someone else’s interpretation while still living my life.

So the LoA makes us all equal as extensions of Source, with the same opportunities as the rest. LoA responds to Every thought vibration exactly the same, every time, for everyone. What makes us unequal is how we think of what we are worth; not to others but to ourselves. What other’s evaluation of Our worth or Deservedness is not as important as your own. In our Attraction based Universe, with the LoA managing & collecting like vibrations, Your level of Self-Esteem is what vibration you attract in & from others. Everything, living and inanimate; in the Universe is made of the same thing, Energy. The energy of Source/God which is a vibrational result of the energy of Loving thought. The differences come from the variations of the Frequency of the vibration. A glass of Ice Water holds Three separate vibrational frequencies, simultaneously. Add tea leaves and the three adapt to accommodate the new vibration because WE Want Tea…and so it goes with Everything else.

Being happy should not be rooted in a Physical Condition (I’ll be happy when…) but as a result of the Anticipation of the next moment of Joy & Satisfaction brought forth by your desire to Feel Good as much as possible. We create Our Own reality with the Thought & Emotional vibrational offerings that LoA attracts the Like thought/vibration to it/you. With every thought, we “distort” the world. We are meant to create, to bring New to now & to be Individually Unique extensions of the Whole.-JMO

Vibe Commentary-3/19

Today’s Thought: Making Decisions
“Never cut down a tree in the winter. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.”- Robert H. Schuller

Author’s Take: Correcting mistakes when things “go Wrong” or passing an opportunity because of a fear of continuing the cycle of errors because we think we can do something better the next time a similar situation arises.

Ending Thought: “If I’m in a bad mood, I will put off making important decisions until my outlook and judgement improve.”

The overall theme here, I believe, is to avoid making decisions that affect your life, at the time; when your attitude is less than Joyful. Great Advice! Whenever you’re angry or upset, disappointed or frustrated, decisions are best left for a better time. We all know those who have made Poor choices during disruptive moods. The results, of course, were less than favorable, without exception. We may all have had similar experiences. It’s a hard lesson to learn and harder still, to employ.
When someone does something we disagree with, that goes against our opinion or belief and we allow ourselves to become angry or upset in some manner; we want to assert our belief as the right one. We feel the need to justify why we became upset and believe they are wrong. We may want revenge or retaliation against those who we feel wronged us. We lash out in anger, choosing to react instead of respond.

There are many Psychological explanations for this behavior. Everything from evolution of early man, in defense of his safety to learned traits of society or reactionary belief systems. Here is where many find the LoA is Not their Mother, to sooth & console them. LoA Draws to it/you the very thoughts you’re thinking. Adding the emotion of Anger or Fear only compounds the Momentum of Creation your thoughts started.

We have evolved past the point of animal-like behavior, no longer Needing to snap back in defence of territory, food or mating rights.

Our thoughts create the emotions we feel when our moods & attitudes. Our feelings dictate our reactions and better choices can be made when we are in a clearer, calmer demeanor. If we have a loss of control, we blame the circumstance at the time for “causing” us to have whatever bad reaction comes.

This is an Attraction based Universe. LoA shows us that no one can Assert their influence upon us without our aligning to Their vibrations! It’s as simple as not thinking we a say in how we feel, when the truth is; we are the only ones that Can determine that. More accurately, we react to situations we encounter without consciously (meaning we don’t realizing we are) thinking of what we will do. It’s a Knee-Jerk response, like an injured or trapped animal. We pride ourselves on having a higher intellect, a superior mind and being more evolved than “lower” forms of life. Even though we claim this, we still React as animals do when confronted with adversity.
We can use our minds to reason (justify) our way through any situation if we only take a few seconds to evaluate the event and to consider the consequences of the action we might take. This takes practice, a willingness to want to change our behavior and a desire to learn new methods of response.

By the Law of Attraction, most situations can be avoided before they occur by maintaining focus away from those types of events. Television shows, the news media, and complaining companions can help influence our “bad” behavior by directing our focus to what we see and hear. The more often we subject ourselves to this kind of stimulation, the more we’re apt to follow the examples of behavior we allow into our focus.
We have the ability to create the safe, happy, calm environment we really want.-JMO
