Today’s
Vibe Commentary-3/02
Greetings all,
This will be a new point of view to most who may read this Blog. This Blog may be completely different in perspective. I’ll not be “railing against the wind” but instead I am offering a common sense understanding of how the Law of Attraction relates to the everyday things we all do. We all have “issues” that come from our Perspective; from where we want to feel “relief”.
If you have read and are following this thread of Vibrational Offerings; you’ll notice that I skip a few days. This is not because I felt they were any less important but because they didn’t offer a point of view that inspired sufficient contrast on which to comment.
Today’s Thought: Self-Confidence
“Did you ever see an unhappy horse? Did you ever see a bird that had the Blues? One reason that birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses.”- Dale Carnegie
Author’s Take: A comment of a disapproving shape or the state of condition of a vehicle or an unnoticed comment or action lend to our feelings of inadequacy. Our daily performances give us a feeling of pride that is short lived if it is not noticed or approved of by others. Until we know what others think, we’re not satisfied with ourselves.
Ending Thought: What others think of me matters, but it shouldn’t matter as much as what I think of myself.
Self confidence comes from a sense of pride and worthiness in knowing one’s self; our actions, knowledge or abilities. We want the recognition of those around us and even more, if we do something we feel is important or clever or better that what someone else has done. If we have a small accident or misspeak, we are embarrassed. What has made the opinions of others of so much value comes from the richest person in the tribe had the most…Horses, cattle, property, wives…! So mankind developed the Habit of Thought (Beliefs) that prosperity and worth came from Quantity of Possession. We still practice this today and it judged by peers and others alike. If no one were looking, would the gathering of “things”, the accumulation of “Stuff” be as important or make us Feel any better?
Animals don’t feel as we do. Yes, I believe they (at least my dogs) have Emotions similar to ours. I see the Love in their eyes, the Joy on their faces as they run through a field or the remorse when they’ve done something they shouldn’t have. They are almost always happy, with or without Toys, a roof, regular food. If their situation changes, they adapt quickly and don’t look back and Pine for the “better times” of the past!! As long as their Human gives them attention, or if on their own, they can be safe; they ARE happy. They don’t see another dog in a Mercedes & wish it was them…
What we feel of ourselves is important. In fact, it’s THE most important feeling we can have. Our self worth and values come from within. “Self-…” is the prefix that tells us that our value or worthiness depends on OUR opinion of ourselves. We crate our own reality and that starts with our Self-Worth. No one else came truly Make us do or feel anything. We may react (out of Habit) to a word; kind or hurtful, but it’s just that, a reaction; which is a choice. The choice to accept the feeling we assign to it also comes from within.
Happy creating. Live a life of Joy!
(This has been my interpretation of the LoA and my opinion of it’s application)
